We start our trek from Lukla after taking half an hour flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. When we land at its tiny airstrip, the adventure trekking really begins.

This is considered as the highly praised trekking route to Everest region. It was in 1952 when two renowned figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Sherpa had taken the same route to Mt. Everest. During this trekking, we take you through lush valleys with abundant flora and fauna, past friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monastaries like tengboche monastery, and far above the tree line towards the earth’s highest mountains.
This fascinating trek offers an wonderful opportunity to climb kalapathar (5,545m), overlooking the base camp area, superb view of the highest mountains including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu etc.
The trek requires a reasonable level of fitness – enough to walk up and down moderate hills on good trails carrying a small day pack. The rest of your gear will carried by porters. Most days involve up to five hours walking and, particularly earlier in the trip, the days are shortest to make acclimatization to altitude easier.

Much of it is only a few thousand feet above ground and the views of the terraced landscape and river valleys below, as well as the closeness of some of the world’s highest mountains make it a truly memorable experience. And after a hearty second breakfast, trek to Phakding, a couple of hours walk. Situated on the banks of the Dudh Kosi, which drains the whole of the Khumbu region, this small hamlet is on the main trade route through the area and there are a number of clean, well-built lodges where we can spend the night.

We will continue up the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing it twice by small suspension bridges before reaching the village of Monjo where we will enter the Khumbu National Park. We will then cross the confluence of the Dudh Kosi and the Bhote Kosi on a high suspension bridge and climb steeply for about two hours to reach Namche Bazaar. This is a prosperous trading town and the capital of the Khumbu region. Many Tibetans cross the nearby border to trade their wares and the local market is a fascinating spectacle. This is a good place to buy genuine Tibetan artefacts. Just across the valley
to the east stand the peaks of Thamserku and Kangtega, both very impressive mountains.

Day: 05 Explore Days. O/N Namche Bazar

"Yeti" skull and the gompa then to Khunde to see the Hillary Hospital.
Day 06: Namche Bazar - Tangboche. O/N Tangboche. (3867m) 5 hr
From Namche, the well-worn Everest trail contours around the side of the valley high above the Dudh Kosi. As we follow the path, we will get our first really good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu: Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, we will cross the Dudh Kosi river and make a steep climb to Thyangboche, home of an impressive and recently rebuilt monastery.

Day: 09 Labuche - Gorak Shep. O/N Gorak Shep. (5160m) 3 hr.

About 3 hours beyond Lobuje we reach Gorak Shep, the site of the 1953 expedition's base camp. An evening ascent of Kala Pattar (5,545m/18,188ft) is highly recommended for hopefully a sunset view of Everest. The climb takes about 2 hours and can be hard work, but the effort is rewarded by the classic view of Everest and the Khumbu Icefall, as well as Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori immediately above.

Day 10: Gorak Shep - Kalapattar Base Camp (5545m). O/N Labuche.(4930m)
Today as you walk you can see the icy-glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier. The walk brings you to Gorakshep which has two teahouses and was base camp for the early 50's expedition to Mt. Everest. At the top of Kalapatthar the view is beyond imagination and Everest looks within a stones throw. The panoramic view from this spot makes the hard climb feel worthwhile. Descend for the overnight camp at Labuche..

Day 11: Labuche - Dzongla. O/N Jongla (4800m) 5 hr
An early start is recommended for the steep climb over boulders and scree to the top of the Cho La pass (17,773ft/5,420m). Wonderful panoramic views are the reward, before a gradual descent down the summit snowfield steepens onto rock, which may require a rope for security. The trail then improves and leads to the tiny settlement of Dzongla. Time: 5 hours.

Day 12: Dzongla To Chola Pass (5420m). O/N Thangna

Day 13: Thangna To Gokyo. O/N Gokyo.(4791m) 4 hr

Today very early in the morning, we begin steep climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri (5483m), provides us ample rewards as one attempts this trip. We are fascinated by stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481m), Cho-Oyu (8153m) and Gychung Kang (7922m) can be seen. People those explore the glacier and Gokyo peak are rewarded here.
